Our idea based in our team was to make a animation about the turtle Snorkel from the national marine aquarium. The back story behind this creature was that Snorkel, most likely lived in Australasian waters when a storm hit which caused snorkel and her family to drift off into open water. within a good few days Snorkel and her family was washed up on the coast of Cornwall, Shortly after, a group of people saved the turtles and brought them to a marine centre where they looked after and tested the turtles to see if they were in good health, all where fine, apart from Snorkel, she became blind and unfit to be just put back in the ocean, so they let all the other turtles go, and brought Snorkel to the National Marine Aquarium in Plymouth, and she's lived there ever since.
So, we had our story brief done, now onto design planning and development, I was head of Photography, coding and scripting, Lewis was in charge of concept sketches, storyboarding, and tweening and motion in the flash animation. while Alex was ion charge of Spelling and Grammar checking, beta testing, Graphics, and the Power point Presentation, which all is described very well by this Time Plan that Alex made:
When we pitched our idea to our client, it seemed that we where all very nervous but honestly there wasn't any need to be, The clients responses where very positive and the only parts that where negative where very minor and where things that could be done quickly and without any hassle, for example the occasional spelling error. Directly after the presentation I started the Production of the animation by creating a working intro screen with a interactive button and a peaceful underwater sound. Lewis also began Creating assets for flash for me so I can animate them in. while Alec began to create this time plan that is above. annoyingly in the first week of production we lost our work to a Flash error that caused the program to crash, but fortunately by the second week of production we got a Massive amount of work accomplished, after the beta tastings the we noticed multiple glitches that wasn't accounted for during production which took up one week to completely fix the bugs, I did have some slight problems with the tweening which lewis helped me with and even worse the animation became quite a large file which kept crashing if we tried saving it and or if the program auto saved. the file actually became up to one hundred and twenty one Megabytes in size. when the animation was complete, we had another presentation to perform in front of our client, in which we had to show off our work, The client did like our main character design for snorkel or in her own words, she thought it was "Cute". There where a few more bugs that needed to be fixed and then the entire project was complete,

The Principles of Interactive Media.
There are many purposes and uses of Interactive Media, many including Gaming software, Touch screen, Phone apps and Interactivity, TV ads, Websites and more. Interactive Media in general Is a Fantastic way to advertise/sell a certain brand, company or product, and can Provide a more entertaining and eye catching thrill towards them, where as otherwise there would be just a normal person talking about the product and trying to sell it on to people with body language excited vocals and Tempting offers and deals. instead there would be a Possible web banner that has a mini game to click on, and just before you complete the game it'll re direct you to the main website that will have possible promotional codes, Competitions, Deals, more information on the product and as much interactive and animated media based advertisements practically spammed across the screen. Interactive media can be displayed in many more formats that just web banner and TV advertisements though. for example the following paragraphs will include other means of interactive media and what the possibilities of them could/can be.
Gaming is possibly (if not is) the most successful Means of interactive media, stretching across many platforms and consoles, the gaming media Has open and endless possibilities. Gaming has already transformed form a box near your TV with wires everywhere to a Hand held device with Touch screen, camera displays, HD graphics and movement controls (Based off the PlayStation Vita). for the companies and personal making the games the gross Profit can become in the Very High Millions, for example The Famous FPS, shoot em up Massively multilayer and Highly successful game Franchise "Call Of Duty" reached a Massive five Hundred Million dollars Gross profit, The Game sold 7.5 Million copies worldwide in The first month as well, so you can already tell how Massive the Gaming interactivity has blossomed since the one of the first in the Gaming generation games like Pong! which only sold thirty eight thousand copies, and that was back in nineteen seventy two.
Touch screen is practically one hundred percent interactive in anyway it's looked at. Many successful touch screen products like the Apple's famous Ipad, which Has grown substantially in the market for it's interactivity. One of the first touch screen phones that exploded the Franchise was the Motorola Accompli 008, a really small touch screen phone that was slow and didn't have allot to offer, But now, we have Apple's I Phone 5, Samsung's Galaxy Ace 3, and all the brands of a windows phone. Touch Screen has many interactive purposes, for example sliding the screen with your finger to change a slide on a power point like program, or Pulling your finger across the screen for the pure fun of playing angry birds. The best part about it is the fact that anyone could get rich off products like this, "The App Store" offers a contract to the people who can make apps to sell, But, They have to be successful.

Task 4 Production Documentation
Time Plan Produced By Alex
We all had our own objectives and tasks to complete in our team, i was mostly doing Photography, Coding, sound management, and a few assets.
This was kinda late into the project where we coded it so "snorkel" had to be clicked rapidly clicked to move
Task 2: Ideas generation
The main ideas generation came from our team leader "Lewis Wain" and the ideas generation is mostly his work, but my side of it was:
Helping on the storyline
Helping with the decisions on what kind of art work for the Turtle look was e.g.
as you can see the mainly focused one is the final two designs and these where the Turtle designs that I helped pick out, and I picked that design because i thought about how it was a children's based animation so we wanted snorkel to look friendly and a figure that doesn't seem harmful and more of a peaceful creature so we gave it ( as the client said later on ) a Cute Look.
I was also The Head for photography in the group to get backgrounds, sea life stills (to help with character creation and themes.
I took this photograph and then our Team leader manipulated using the Photo filter turned it into:
